We’re here! Thanks again to my wonderful guest posters for helping fill in while we were traveling. You all were amazing!
We’re still feeling a little disoriented, and have a lot to learn. Today is our third day, and I’m feeling moderately adjusted to the time change and schedule differences (lunch at 2pm and dinner at 8!)
But before I dive into all things Italy, I want to share a little about New York! Unfortunately, we haven't quite worked out our internet situation here perfectly, and I can't upload more than a couple photos without us running out of memory on our internet stick (I don't know what else to call it). Hoping to be able to login at the local library to upload all the photos.
For now we're diving into learning to language as quickly as possible. We have a church event tonight and most people won't be fluent in English like our host family, so I'm a bit nervous of course.
It's been raining almost non-stop since we got here. Here's a photo from a sunny moment today on the little patio outside our flat.
